| About Our Business My name is Tanya Ledbetter, I live in Bend, Or. I started a small business 2 yrs ago and call it Barrelhorse 4 U. I train barrel horses, give lessons and do Equine rehabilitation, breed for AQHA Barrel prospects. I promote good saddle fitting by offering the The saddle CorrecTOR by Len Brown, Dentistry, Chiropractics, balanced farrier work, and good sound nutrition. I train barrel horses & give lessons to dedicated students who are willing to have a open mind. Booking is full for outside horses for now. All horses that come into training must be current on dentistry, and be willing to have chiropractic & shoeing changes if needed. All horses are placed on a very good nutritional plan that fits their needs. All horses have a shelter & a 60 x 200 pasture to themselves. I like to train horses to have a quiet disposition & willing attitude. A good balance of arena work & trail riding is a big part of this. Discipline is done by blocking bad behavior & making it easier to do right then to do wrong, not whipping, yanking & beating. Horses have a better chance at succeeding when working with them then working against them. A very open mind is used when training to develop a stable environment to gain the trust they need. Horses learn by habit & repetition. They do not wake up one day & decide to make your day hard.
