Saddle CorrecTORS
BARREL RACERS Saddle Fit problems Solved, Fading performance reversed, all by a saddlepad!

My barrel horse's problems: saddle rolling, white hair, nervousness, cinching, running past the barrels, to my surprise
were mostly saddle-soring based!

Saddle Fit has always been an issue for Rooster!
Hi Len,
I have really seen a huge improvement is my horses.  Only one
horse still had those irritating dry spots but never got sore.
Everyone loves it, even the colts are less broncy.
Saddle fit has always been an issue for Rooster my 11 year old
barrel horse.  I broke and trained the big gelding, who got his
name from the John Wayne character "Rooster Cogburn" for his
difficult and maverick behavior.
His huge shoulder blades and the sunken area behind them
always caused the saddle to slide back and roll.  Before we ran, I
had to cinch and re-cinch very slowly 5 or 6 times.  To keep the
saddle in place I had to cinch so tightly he got white hairs
around his girth.
Needless to say he hated being saddled - he would anticipate
the pull of the latigo and hang back or try to shove me out of the
way with his hind foot.  He was an extremely nervous and strong
headed horse and because of this his success as a barrel horse
was intermittent; he would work great one run then run by the
barrels the next.  His behavior and performance gradually got
worse with time.
It never even crossed my mind I had a very sore, sour horse from
poor saddle fit. I always have new, clean, expensive equipment,
but the Corrector has been the best money I've ever spent.  I saw
a difference in his attitude and "cinchy" problem the very first
time I used it.  It took about five weeks of riding with it daily to
reasure and reprogram him after years of saddle pain.  He quited
down so much, I kept taking his temperature to make sure he was
healthy -- he was.
Rooster is finally running happy and winning again.  He is
getting more consistent with each run.  I cinch him once real
tight at the trailer and he sleeps right through it and the saddle
stays put.  He is running harder and turning better than he ever
has and he likes his job again.
Riding and working Rooster used to be the worst part of both our
days.  Now riding him is fun and I get to see him progress into
the horse I always wanted him to be.
Len, thanks for the great pad, Kelli Tolbert.    Hinckley, Utah

them last. The tough 1/8" upper and soft 1/4" layers of Polyester felt
keep your Corrector clean & dry. The TOP GRADE Polyester fleece
let's the sweat run off your horse, not sweating up the pad above.
The patent protected Eliptical Center Cut and split ends let heat out.
Keep your balance shims in place while you ride in style with the
UltraLite Pro.
The Contoured UltraLite Pro is now available in lengths of
28" or 30" for the Std.,32" for the large. The HERMAN OAK
GATOR HARNESS wearleather long enough to cover leg swing
to protect your horse + make the pad last longer. Your Corrector
and Balance Shims slip between the tough 1/8" top layer and
the soft 1/4" lower layer of Polyester felt. On the bottom is TOP
GRADE Polyester fleece which is easiest to care for & runs
cool & light. Some break in is required. Fleece is the only true
padding. Now you can have close contact rounded pad to make
a COMPLETE SADDLEFIT SYSTEM, "in style".
The Supreme Comfort Barrel Envelope now comes with HERMAN
OAK, GATOR HARNESS Wearleathers. It has a 1/4" soft Polyester
Felt & TOP GRADE PolyesterFleece lower. Your Corrector lies in
between it and the tough needlepunched shiny felt Upper. Ropers,
this is all the pad you need. More padding over or under this
envelope is a problem, not a help. The Wearleathers are relief cut for
closer contact yet still protect the horse from the stirrup straps.
CLOSER, THICKER, SOFTER! What else could you want? The large
Correctorsize is 34" long. The Std.Corrector size is 32" long. It's only
32" side to side at the relief Cut part of the Pad,the rest of it is 36"
side to side. Enjoy, Len.... PS> it's cut elliptical down the center,
cutback in front & foreward in rear. It's cool, moves with your
horse, and is covered by US Patent No. 7,082,741 B2 > It's the cut
that's unique.
